Sydney to Wollongong Cycle
In 2009 and 2010, Apsley consultants (and some of our clients who we recruited) joined the 10,000 other participants and pedalled 90km from Sydney to Wollongong. Along with contributing to the $4.1million which was raised by the ride for Multiple Sclerosis; Apsley raised $1,000 for Cancer Research and $2,000 for ‘Working for Children Rainbow Orphanage’ a registered, non-profit orphanage in Siem Reap Province Cambodia.

Tough Bloke Challenge
In June 2011, Apsley consultants joined the 3,000 other competitors for the 3rd edition of the Tough Bloke Challenge Sydney. Organised by Maximum Adventure, this was an off road running event that combined the challenges of cross country running, man-made and natural obstacles, water crossings and mud whilst supporting Barnardos Australia. A great team building event that had Apsley clearing the obstacles and getting around the course in as short a time as possible to be in the running for the Tough Challenge Trophy!
Camogie / Hurling
The Irish consultants amongst Apsley have kept their traditional sporting passion going strong. Keira and Jen are active members of the Central Coast Hurling, Football and Camogie Club whilst Liam plays hurling with Sydney Shamrocks. Hurling and Camogie is played with sticks called hurleys and a ball called a sliotar. Hurling is the national sport of Ireland and is thought to be the world's fastest field team game in terms of game play. If you are interested in playing in Sydney please check out our websites or contact us directly by email. Come along and enjoy the craic!
Celebrate Success
Apsley celebrate success in various ways. These range from being told you’ve done a good job through to retail vouchers, movie tickets, half days off, extra cash bonuses and promotions.
Hitting quarterly / annual budgets are celebrated in style at Apsley! Our last one involved us standing at the top of the tallest building in Sydney. At 880 feet above Sydney’s sea level, we enjoyed the magnificent views over Sydney from Skywalk Tower!
